Aruna D. Pradhan, MD, MPH, MSc
Aruna D. Pradhan, MD, MPH, MSc is an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. She has joint appointments in the Division of Preventive Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Cardiovascular Medicine Division at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital, West Roxbury Campus. Dr. Pradhan is a cardiologist who has been working at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital for over two decades. She has received multiple grants to evaluate heart disease, stroke, and peripheral artery disease (PAD) from the National Institutes of Health. Her research interests span the related areas of inflammation, diabetes, and peripheral artery disease. She has served as the Chair of the American Heart Association’s Council on Peripheral Vascular Diseases (2017-2019) and co-Chair of the PAD National Action Plan. She speaks nationally and internationally on the topics of risk factors and new therapies for cardiovascular disease prevention.
Luc Djousse, DSc, MD
Luc Djousse, DSc, MD is an Associate Professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He is Director of Research in the Division of Aging at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Director of Science and Chief Epidemiologist at MAVERIC, Boston VA and Associate Professor of Medicine and Nutrition at Harvard University. He has more than two decades of experience in fatty acid research and received several grants from the National Institutes of health as well as industry, including a trial of blueberry polyphenols on older adults.
